Sea temperature is a practical indicator of comfort, especially outside midsummer. Wave height gives a quick sense of how settled the sea may feel. Wind speed matters both for beach comfort and for how choppy the surface may become, especially on more open beaches.
Remember that Nerja’s coastline is varied. A central cove may feel more sheltered than a longer exposed beach, even on the same day.
Every main beach page on this site includes the same type of live conditions module, so you can compare editorial guidance with current numbers for water temperature, waves and wind.
